Dr David Johnson

Mandy and I moved to Coffs Harbour in 1984 the day after our wedding, to work at Park Avenue with Dr Garth McGilvray. I had previously worked for two years in mixed practice at Narromine and then for a year in equine and small animal practice in England. I became a partner in the practice in 1986 and have been involved in Pacific Vetcare ever since.

I have a particular interest in performance horses and have been involved with the Sydney and Beijing Olympics in a veterinary capacity and also with the Australian Young Riders Equestrian team in 2010. Lameness, ultrasonography, endoscopy and radiology are fields I am interested in. I also enjoy treating cattle and companion animals and have a dog Ollie and a new kitten Pushkar.
