Pacific Vetcare was established in 1974 by Dr Garth McGilvray who later in his career was awarded an Order of Australia for his contribution to Veterinary Science. Today Pacific Vetcare is still locally owned and operated by five Veterinarian Partners; Dr David Johnson, Dr Stephen Deist, Dr Allan Hudson, Dr Adam Gerhardt & Dr Mathew Grabovszky.
Pacific Vetcare is comprised of four conveniently located practices all with plenty of parking; Coffs Harbour, Sawtell, Woolgoolga and Coramba, we have a veterinarian near you. Our Harbour Drive hospital is open 7 days a week where emergency care and 24 hour patient monitoring is available.
We’re a mixed animal practice offering veterinary treatment and advice for dogs, cats, birds, horses, rabbits, ferrets, guineapigs, rats , mice, reptiles, wildlife and farm animals such as cows, sheep, pigs, alpaca’s, goats, chickens, ducks. Our hospitals are all purpose built and fully equipped with modern diagnostic and surgical equipment.
We offer hospital tours for anyone interested in seeing how a veterinary hospital works. Farm and home visits are also part of our regular service.
Our friendly dedicated team consists of 11 highly skilled veterinarians all with their own particular interest areas, along with approximately 25 fully qualified nursing and administration staff. We enjoy sharing our knowledge with our clients to ensure pet ownership is a pleasurable and rewarding experience.
